Barry Marrow: Heach Coach/Offensive Coordinator
Barry E. Marrow is a native of Raleigh, N.C. and attended Cary High School, where he was a member of the Imp football team. Following graduation, he spent two years at Merced College in Merced, Calif., where he was a member of the Blue Devil football team.
Barry is no stranger to football and arena football as he has devoted 13 years to the game he loves, including playing in the German Football League. After ending his career as a player, he turned his focus on being an owner of a semi pro football team where found his true calling for the game. Barry brings a wealth of knowledge to this venture, not only from a players’ perspective but also from an on-field operations standpoint.
Shawn Wood: Defensive Coordinator
Shawn is a Toccoa, GA native where he graduated from Stephens County High School in 1987. He lettered in three sports: football, baseball and track. Shawn played football at the University of West Georgia as a running back. Coach Wood started his coaching career with the Carolina Knights semi-pro team in 2007 where he served as defensive coordinator where they won the league and national championship in 2008 and 2010. He also served one season as Head Coach for Southern Tech Academy in 2011. Shawn came back to Semi-pro where he was the head coach for the Charlotte Colts from 2012 to 2015 where they were national runner-up’s in 2014 and national champions in 2015. He was inducted into the American Football News Hall of Fame as a coach in 2013.
Shawn is currently the owner of the Charlotte Colts semi-pro team and part owner of the Carolina Aviators. He is studying Business Management at Capella University. He is married to Tamiko Wood and have four children and five grandchildren.
William Parker: Defensive Back Coach
William is a Hampton, VA native where he graduated from Phoebus High School in 1985. He served in the Marine Corps at an early age and was deployed overseas his first year in. After his stint in the service William moved back to Virginina where he played 16 years of semi-pro football for the Peninsula Pirates, Peninsula Posedions and the Virginia Destroyers. His coaching career started in 1992 coaching youth league football. William has also coached high school and semi-pro with the Virginia Destroyers, Virginia Crusaders and the Charlotte Colts. He has won a National Championship and League Championship while coaching with the Colts in 2015 and was inducted into the Mason Dixon Hall of Fame with the Virginia Crusaders in 2014.
William is currently a coach for the American Football Events Team USA. He is engaged to Sandra Worthey and has combined family of 9 children and 13 grandchidren.
Ebony Special Teams Coach/Wide Receivers
Ebony Kimbrough is an Augusta GA native and has made Charlotte her home for the last twenty years. She attended UNC- Chapel Hill double majoring in Biology and Chemistry. Having played other sports thru high school, she began playing women's full contact football for the Carolina Cougars (based in Greensboro NC) in 1999. She then started her own team, The Carolina Queens, in 2004. She has been the owner, a coach and player for several years and decided to retire from playing at the end of the 2018 season after playing for twenty seasons. In that time, she has played every position on the field at some point in time. Throughout the years she has been selected to play in many leagues All Star games and her "Swan Song" will be played at the Women's Football Hall of Fame All Star game in Las Vegas this December. She is now concentrating on being an owner and coach.
